With
all that we have to do in a day, taking special care
of our laundry can be a hassle. In order to help keep
the life of your bra,
follow these tips and you will see the life span of
your bras expand.
Washing Bras
There
are two options on how to delicately wash your bra.
The best option is to wash your bras by hand and avoid
the washing machine. Always use a delicate soda-based
fabric detergent because other detergents may contain
chemicals harmful to delicate fabrics. To hand wash,
fill a deep sink with cold water and detergent (or
hand soap) and then soak.
The
second option is to use the washing machine but to
be sure to place your bra's inside a lingerie bag
or a pillow liner. Set your machine on the delicate
cycle at a cold temperature. Try to keep the hooks
clasped to the bras do not tangle.
Drying
Bras
The
dryer is the worst thing for a bra. The dryer is not
delicate enough for your delicate bras and the heat
is not good for it either. Instead of using the dryer,
place your bras to dry on their own using a clothesline
or drying rack. The money you will save by not having
to purchase a new bra every time it goes through the
dryer will far outweigh the extra time taken for it
to dry.
Washing your bras does not need to be done every day
after every wearing, but taking good care of your
bra's will ensure long lasting coverage and comfort!
